Solar energy has intrigued me for many years. For some reason, the idea of cooking with the sun is on my mind these days. Living in mostly sunny SE Washington, over 300 days of sun a year, cooking with the sun should be a "no brainer", but who's doing it?
I've tracked down several sites detailing how to build your own solar cooker on the cheap. Building your own solar cooker requires as little as, a card board pizza box, aluminum foil, elmers glue, plastic wrap and a box knife.
To get you started cooking with the sun, here are links to several Solar Cooking sites. You'll find instructions on building your own solar cooker, recipes and where to purchase pre-assembled cookers.
